But we’ve folded drones into inspections — Mavic 3E, 45° obliques around each sector, then a quick thermal sweep on RRUs. One step that helped: set a geofence and RTH altitude 10 m above the top panel and use a simple shot list so you’re not improvising midair. They’re great for “eyes-on” and documentation, but we still climb for torque/PIM; windy days make them cranky — are you flying under Part 107 in-house or using a vendor?
