Dealing with Slow Internet Speeds

I’ve been getting a lot of calls lately about slow internet speeds, and it’s making it hard for customers to work from home. Most of the time, it’s a simple fix like resetting the router or checking for network congestion, but sometimes it’s a bit deeper. Anyone else experiencing this, or have tips on troubleshooting?

Have you tried checking for firmware updates on the router? It’s kind of like giving it a little vitamin boost. I’ve found that sometimes those updates can improve speeds significantly.

I had a similar issue last month and found that switching the Wi-Fi channel on my router really helped. It made a big difference in speed! Have you considered suggesting that to your customers?

This drives me nuts too! Sometimes, just changing the position of the router can help with those slow speeds, especially if it’s stuck in a corner. Have you noticed if the problem’s worse at certain times of day? @pcarter51 had a good point about congestion, but physical placement can really make a difference.
